IEP Advocacy

IEP advocates help families navigate the special education system and ensure their child receives appropriate services.

An IEP (Individualized Education Program) advocate can attend school meetings, review evaluations, help parents understand their rights under IDEA, and advocate for appropriate placements and services. Some advocates are also attorneys; others are trained parent advocates.
